Nora Long Napanangka
Nora Long Napanangka was born in 1948 in Willowra, Central Australia.
She began painting from 1980 and her artwork stories are usually about the food and ceremonies of her traditional country which encompasses the area of Mt. Theo and includes Aboriginal Women's Body Paint design, Goanna, Bush Tomato, Bush Bean and Bush Onion (Yalka).
Two well known artists, Janet Long Nakamarra and Doreen Dickson Nakamarra are Nora's daughters.
Nora Long Napanangka is sister of Rex Japanangka Granites, Audry Martin Napanangka , Elsie Napanangka Granites and related to the famous Michael Nelson Minjina Jagamarra, all renowned artists of Warlpiri Tribe.
