Mary Naberaula is from Warlpiri Tribe and like some of Warlpiri women, Mary Naberaula uses strong vibrant colours to depict her dreamings.
Aboriginal women are gatherers of bush food and water. They have to know how to find the food and water for survival. Older women with these knowledge have to pass thier knowledge to the next generation. Most of the time they teach through painting the stories and dreamings.
Her dreaming includes Damper Seed Dreaming and other Bush Foods.
