Louise Numina Napanangka
Louise Numina Napanangka was born in 1976 in Northern Territory. She is an Anmatyerre woman.
Like her Aunties renowned Aboriginal Artists Gloria Petyarre and Kathleen Petyarre, she is a very talented artist. Gloria and Kathleen taught Louise painting their family's dreamings. She started painting in 1981.
Louise Numina Napanangka is one of six sisters and three brothers. She attended Primary School at Stirling Station and later went to Yirara College in Alice Springs. When she returned to Stirling Station she worked with the Community Development Program.
Louise moved to Darwin in 1995. She studied at Nungalinya College and has a Diploma of Fine Arts from the Northern Territory University. Louise's work has been exhibited in Darwin and Sydney.
