Gloria Petyarre is one of first Aboriginal women from Anmatyerre tribe who started painting in 1960s first on silk and then in 1970s on canvas and linen. In this piece she portrayed Bush Medicine Leaves in their yellow, orange and red stage. You can read "Story of Bush Medicine Leaves" here.
