Glenys Napaltjarri Gibson
Glenys Napaltjarri Gibson was born in 1968 in Kiwirrkurra, Western Desert, Western Australia.
She lives in Kiwirrkurra, a remote community 700kms NW of Alice Springs. Glenys is married to Oscar Jakamarra and has two sons.
Glenys Napaltjarri Gibson has been painting since 2006. She learned painting from her mother, the world famous artist, Ningura Napurrula Gibbs, who's work are sought after by collectors in Australia and abroad. Her father, Yala Yala Gibbs Tjungurrayi (deceased) was also an artist.
Glenys paints Women's Dreaming.
