Caroline Numina Napanangka (Pananka)

Caroline Numina Napanangka (Pananka) was born in Northern Territory in 1971.
She started painting in early childhood and very soon showed the talent for becoming a well known artist. Caroline attended primary school at Stirling station. Later she went to high school at Kormilda college in Darwin. She lives in Darwin now and frequently visits her family in Utopia.

Caroline Numina has five sisters and three brothers. Together with her sisters, Louise, Selina, Lanita and Sharon followed the path of their aunties, renowned Aboriginal Artists, Kathleen Petyarre and Gloria Petyarre in painting Mountain Devil Lizard Dreaming and Bush Medicine Leaves. Caroline has a pleasant style in depicting these dreaming.
