About Karlangu

Karlangu Aboriginal Art Centre is located on 47 York Street, the heart of Sydney. The gallery is about 300 square meters giving us enough space to display a great collection of Aboriginal Art from different parts of Australia.

At Karlangu Aboriginal Art Centre our aim is to provide our customers paintings that enrich their lives beyond the day to day affairs.

We believe that a piece of art should bring you a sense of peacefulness and joy, something that can help you get the frustrations of the day out of your system. It should not be just a drawing on a piece of canvas or paper. It should bring an extra dimension of spirituality and a story, magic to capture your soul, and let your mind wonder. You should be able to look at it, enjoy and contemplate.

To achieve this aim we source our artwork from across of Australia, from Alice Springs, Utopia, Papunya, Arnham Land, Kintore, Northern, Western and Southern NSW, Queensland and Western Australia, showcasing works by :
